Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police conducted a full crime scene analysis on Thursday (11/12/2025) after a minivan delivering free nutritious meals (MBG) crashed into SDN Kalibaru 01 elementary school in Cilincing, North Jakarta, injuring students and a teacher. 

“We are conducting a Traffic Accident Analysis to determine the exact cause of the crash,” Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri said, as quoted by antaranews.com, adding that the driver has been detained for questioning.

Police established a service post and deployed trauma-healing teams to support affected students. 

Investigators are examining whether driver negligence was involved, with both the Criminal Investigation Directorate and Traffic Directorate jointly handling the case. Authorities also urged the public to remain calm and verify circulating information as the investigation continues.

The incident occurred around 6.39 am when the minivan suddenly broke through the school gate and struck children participating in a morning literacy activity.
