Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo handed over six trucks loaded with relief supplies to disaster-affected residents of Aceh Tamiang on Thursday (11/12/2025), after inspecting the refugee shelter at Kuala Simpang Bridge accommodating around 240 evacuees.

The supplies include generators, water pumps, emergency food and shelter items, clean water tanks, and aid supplies ranging from cooking oil to school uniforms. The supplies included electric saws, jet pumps, water pumps, jerry cans of fuel and oil, 200 food packages, clothing, medical kits, blankets, school uniforms, and more, according to a statement published by antaranews.com.

In addition to material aid, the INP deployed a trauma-healing team of 12 members, set up a field kitchen capable of cooking 450 meals per batch, organized a health post staffed by 31 medical personnel, and installed water-treatment units producing up to 16,000 liters of clean water daily.
