Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. As the 2024 elections approached, the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police conducted an Istigosah Qubro, or a collective prayer session, seeking divine assistance in maintaining peace and order in society on Tuesday (6/2/2024).
"This activity serves as a reminder to congregants and the public to uphold the tranquility of unity and peace, acknowledging that whoever is elected (as president and vice president) is the will of Allah," said Senior Superintendent Badya Wijaya, the Director of Community Development at Metro Jaya Police, in a statement.
He praised the efforts of religious figures involved in community policing for their continuous presence in society, providing enlightenment, and actively encouraging the public to maintain public order during their sermons.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Community Policing Religious Figures (Dai Kamtibmas) at Metro Jaya Police, Tatang Firdaus, extended appreciation to the Director of Community Development at Polda Metro Jaya for its support and collaboration in safeguarding the jurisdiction's security and order.
