Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi, Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police, welcomed the President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo and the First Lady Iriana Jokowi upon their arrival at Kualanamu Airport, Deliserdang, for a working visit in North Sumatera, on Tuesday (6/2/2024). Accompanying the police chief were North Sumatera Acting Governor Hasanuddin, Military Area Commander I Bukit Barisan Mayor General Mochammad Hasan, and other dignitaries. During the working visit, the president was scheduled to inaugurate the Lima Puluh Toll Gate inauguration in Batubara Regency, distribute PNM Mekar social assistance at Lima Puluh Batubara Field to 4,500 residents, and inspect the Kumpulan Pane Regional General Hospital in Tebingtinggi City. The police chief stated that a total of 3,600 joint forces from the INP and Indonesian Military deployed to ensure the security of the president's working visit. (ar/rz/pr/nm)
