Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Directorate of Water and Air Police of the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police released 15,000 milkfish seeds and 150,000 vannamei shrimp seeds in Kampung Bagedor, Muaragembong, Bekasi, on Tuesday (2/6/2026) to support national food security and supplies raw materials for the police nutrition service unit.
“The Water and Air Police Directorate not only secures waterways but also actively supports food security and coastal community welfare,” said Director Senior Superintendent Mustofa.
He explained Bekasi’s coastal area has strong aquaculture potential that should be developed to improve productivity and local income.
The program aims to strengthen food availability while providing sustainable economic benefits for fish farmers and residents.
The event was attended by local community leaders and local farmers, reflecting strong cooperation between police and residents in building a productive aquaculture sector.
