inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Law signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with 20 ministries/institutions (K/L) in order to improve and strengthen collaboration, coordination, and legal harmonization between sectors.
The signing was carried out at Graha Pengayoman, Jakarta, Wednesday (5/14/2025), attended by Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas and representatives of 20 K/L, including Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Minister of Cooperatives Budi Arie Setiadi, Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya, and Minister of Trade Budi Santoso.
"This cross-ministerial cooperation is indeed a very good thing. Solidarity among all ministries will be seen that we have put aside sectoral egos for a good purpose, a common goal in the nation and state," said Supratman after the signing.
In his remarks, Supratman explained that post-restructuring, the Ministry of Law has three directorates general (DG) that are ready to collaborate with ministries/agencies, namely the Directorate General of Legislation (PP), the Directorate General of General Legal Administration (AHU), and the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (KI).
The Directorate General of PP, for example, has a direct relationship with ministries/agencies because it concerns the preparation and harmonization of regulations. Supratman said that the Directorate General of PP already has an i-Harmonization system for harmonization of regulations at the level of ministerial regulations, government regulations, and presidential regulations.
He advised ministries/agencies to also always coordinate with the Ministry of Law through the Directorate General of PP starting from the planning of the preparation of regulations. That way, he believes that the Indonesian legal system can be managed well so that it can provide legal certainty to the public.
In addition, the Ministry of Law through the Directorate General of AHU is preparing a digital transformation in order to accelerate the Red and White Cooperative related to the Ministry of Cooperatives. In this case, the Directorate General of AHU provides a special system for the registration of the cooperative in question.
"Currently we are creating a special line for the formation of the Red and White Cooperative. Thousands of registrations can be done simultaneously in one hour. This means that in one 24-hour period, the registration of the Red and White Cooperative that can be directly validated by the system can be 24,000 per day," he said.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Law is also carrying out a digital transformation through the Directorate General of KI. This effort, added Supratman, is closely related to the responsibilities of the Ministry of Creative Economy and the Ministry of SOEs.
