"The personnel who will be involved will be around 177,212 personnel from the National Police, then central and regional, as well as related agencies," explained Operational Assistant of Pol. Inspector-General Imam Sugianto, Tuesday (12/21/21).
Pol. Inspector-General Imam Sugianto explained that hundreds of thousands of personnel would later be deployed to several crowded points in Indonesia. Starting from churches, tourist attractions to shopping centres.
"There is more or less 43 thousand church security for Catholics and Protestants. Then for tourist attractions, there are 6,397 personnel, and at the shopping centre, there are 3,900 personnel who have been deployed," explained the Operational Assistant of National Police Chief.
In addition to deploying personnel, the National Police will also establish security posts spread across 34 provinces in Indonesia. "There are 3,159 personnel who will guard the security posts.
