inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Director of Metro Jaya Regional Police Community Development, Senior Superintendent Badya Wijaya reveals the negative stigma on a region or village also affects the innocents.

Badya reveals that he has received a report from several people who said that they were having difficulties applying for a job due to the stigma placed on their neighborhood.

“We have received a report from the public who were having difficulties applying for jobs due to the stigma of drug villages placed in their neighborhood. This is unfortunate to those innocents. We have to believe that there are still many good people in this city and we have to support them,” says Badya on Thursday (8/1/2024).

Badya also conveyed that Metro Jaya Regional Police remains focused in eradicating drug flow in Jakarta. Through the Community Development Division, Badya says that socialization against drugs are massively conveyed through social media, to visiting schools.
