inp.polri.go.id - Medan. The North Sumatra Regional Police Mobile Brigade Unit again picked up and escorted the Sinovac Vaccine that arrived at the Cargo Terminal of Kualanamu Airport, Deliserdang Regency, Tuesday (10/05/21).
In escorting the vaccine, the North Sumatra Regional Police Mobile Brigade personnel are equipped with unique weapons and vehicles. The vaccine escort was carried out to the Pharmacy Warehouse of the North Sumatra Provincial Government Health Office, Prof. M Yamin street, Medan, North Sumatra.
"The Sinovac vaccine that arrived was 40 coli with the contents of 159,000 doses," explained the Head of the Sat Operations Unit for the North Sumatra Regional Police Mobile Brigade, Police Commissioner Heriyono.
The Head of the Operations Unit for the Mobile Brigade Unit of the North Sumatra Regional Police explained that the vaccine arrived at the Cargo Terminal at 10.40 AM using the Garuda GA-182 aircraft.
Police Commissioner Heriyono added that the vaccine would later be recorded by the Health Office and distributed to areas that will receive the vaccination.
"The escort went well and smoothly; we handed over the vaccine to the Pharmacy Warehouse Manager of the Damhuri Provsu Health Office. As is known, this vaccine will become herd immunity in fighting and preventing the spread of Covid-19," concluded the North Sumatran Police Intermediate Officer.
