Inp.polri.go.id - Mataram. The Narcotics Directorate of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police has named 17 people as suspects involving in 13 different drug cases, an official said on Tuesday (6/2/2024).
NTB Police Chief Inspector General Raden Umar Faroq explained that these cases were uncovered during January 2024.
" Some played the roles as couriers, while others distributors," he said.
The investigators seized various drugs such as crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, and ecstasy pills were seized.
"For crystal methamphetamine, we seized a total of 672 grams," Chief Faroq said.
In addition, 6 kilograms of marijuana and 900 ecstasy pills were also confiscated.
"We also seized cash amounting to Rp17 million, 18 mobile phones, and two motorcycles," he added.
Apart from narcotics, other evidence was seized from the suspects. The 13 cases are currently in the documentation stage.
"Once completed, the case files will be handed over to the prosecuting attorney. For now, all suspects remain detained at the NTB Police Detention Center," Chief Faroq said.
