NTT Police Chief Honors Outstanding Female Officers on Polwan's 76th Anniversary

Inp.polri.go.id - Kupang. East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga awarded several female police officers (Polwan) for their achievements during the celebration of the 76th anniversary of Indonesian Police Women on Friday (4/10/2024).

The event, marked by enthusiasm, recognized the contributions of Polwan in enhancing the police's image.

“Among 700 police women, their roles significantly uplift the police's reputation. Their achievements in sports like boxing, karate, and taekwondo showcase their fighting spirit,” said Chief Daniel.

He emphasized the need for senior female police officers to mentor their juniors to maintain and improve these accomplishments. 

“The 76-year existence of pole women demonstrates their significant contributions to the police force,” he added.

The honorees included Second Brigadier Florencia Viela Mori Ate, who won a bronze medal in taekwondo at the 2024 Indonesian National Police Chief (Kapolri) Cup. Second Brigadier Erniati Ngongo earned a silver medal at the 21st National Sports Week and placed second at an international boxing championship in China.

Brigadier Yusinta Kase won a gold medal in the kumite category at the Kapolri Cup I National Championship while First Brigadier Rusmiati Immaculata Letto achieved recognition by winning a silver medal at the national karate championship.
