inp.polri.go.id - Kupang. The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police emphasized their determination in supporting transparency in state financial management. This was conveyed following the Entry Meeting for the examination of the Indonesian National Police (INP)'s financial report for the 2025 fiscal year.
In the opening remarks, Sarjono as an official of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) says that the audit is mandated by the 1945 Constitution and the State Finance Law.
The BPK is tasked with examining the management and accountability of state finances, the results of which will be reported to the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI).
The ultimate goal is to issue an Opinion, and INP has so far demonstrated outstanding performance, achieving 13 consecutive Fair Without Exception (WTP) opinions.
The INP General Supervision Inspector emphasized to all ranks, including the NTT Regional Police, the need to prepare themselves and rely on data as a crucial instrument of accountability.
The NTT Regional Police Chief followed up on this directive by instructing the Heads of Work Units (Kasatker) to ensure that every rupiah of the budget is converted into tangible outputs and outcomes for the public.
"We are fully committed to supporting the BPK RI audit team. We prioritize the best communication and compliance. The WTP (Unqualified Opinion) predicate is not just a number, but proof that our budget is being used responsibly to protect and serve the people of NTT," stated the Head of Public Relations of the NTT Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Henry Novika Chandra, on Monday (1/19/2026).
With full support for the BPK RI audit process and the planned implementation of the Risk Management Regulation, the NTT Regional Police are optimistic that they can continue to improve the quality of public services.
