Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar extended his greetings for the Lunar New Year to the Confucian community and all Indonesians celebrating. 

On Monday (16/2/2026), the Minister said that the arrival of the new year should serve as a pivotal moment to foster a peaceful atmosphere and wisdom within the nation’s diverse social fabric.

"Justice is the primary foundation of our national life; by upholding it, we can collectively alleviate poverty through brotherhood and social concern," Minister Nasaruddin said during his official address, as cited by antaranews.com

The Minister highlighted that achieving social justice requires a unified spirit of solidarity rather than individual efforts. He expected that this year’s festivities, marked by traditional lion dances and cultural installations across the capital, will strengthen the values of togetherness and harmony.
