Papua Regional Police welcomes students of 2021 Class of Dikmara (NCO Initial Education) of Army and Diktukba (NCO Formation Education) of Police Education and Training Programme held in State Police School (SPN) of Papua Regional Police on Sunday (12/12/2021). The event was attended by Chief of SPN of Papua Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Taufik Irpan Awaluddin, Deputy Commander of NCO Candidate School of XVII/Cendrawasih Regional Training Regiments, Officials of SPN, and the personnel of SPN of Papua Regional Police. In his opening statement, he addressed that this event is an honour for the Police as it could strengthen the synergy between Armed Forces and Police. "As the leader of SPN, it is an honour for me because it could strengthen the synergy. Previously, we had 504 students. Now, with the addition from the NCO Candidate School of the Army, we have 604 now", the Chief of SPN of Papua Regional Police said. Chief of SPN also added that this event is conducted thanks to the innovation from the leaders of Police and Armed Forces in strengthening the friendship of Armed Forces-Police. "This activity is also conducted thanks to the innovation from our former Army Chief of Staff, General Andika Perkasa, which is now the Commander of the Armed Forces, with the Chief of National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. They formed synergy and aimed to integrate Armed Forces and Police education on all levels", he added. Chief of SPN added that Police and Armed Forces personnel must follow guidance from their leader on how to be solid, cohesive, share the same fate and struggle, and be responsible for guarding this nation.
