inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Coordinating Minister of Community Development Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar ensures that the students of People’s School are those who are coming from low-income families.

Muhaimin says that the Ministry of Social Affairs has directly verified the data of the Elementary School students.

"Yes, the Ministry of Social Affairs conducts home visits. After obtaining the data, the Ministry of Social Affairs team visits the homes (of prospective students), photographs, counts, and calculates the data," said Coordinating Minister Muhaimin on Tuesday (7/15/2025).

Previously, Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf also ensured that every prospective People’s School student meets government-set requirements.

First, they must pass the administrative process or be included in the National Socioeconomic Single Data (DTSEN) at Deciles 1 and 2.

After that, a committee or designated party will visit the homes of prospective Elementary School students to verify that the data submitted matches the actual conditions.

Next, the Ministry of Social Affairs and local governments will coordinate to ensure that each registered individual is truly eligible to attend Elementary School.

Finally, each prospective Elementary School student will undergo a medical test before being accepted.

The Minister of Social Affairs explained that data validation refers to a mechanism or is in accordance with President Prabowo Subianto's directives.

This means that individuals registering for Elementary Schools must be from truly economically disadvantaged families, namely the poor and extremely poor.
