Febrie previously served as the Chief Executive of the PKH Task Force.
"Regarding this matter, I convey that there are organizational principles. The Attorney General's Office will provide an explanation at the appropriate time," said PKH Task Force Spokesperson Barita Simanjuntak in a press conference following a meeting in Jakarta on Monday (7/13/2026).
He emphasized that the PKH Task Force currently operates based on organizational principles, both within the steering committee and the implementing body.
He continued, a report regarding the implementation and direction of the PKH Task Force's duties will be submitted to President Prabowo Subianto.
In this morning's meeting, Barita stated that the PKH Task Force had not yet discussed the position of Chief Executive, but rather discussed agenda items related to optimization, synchronization, evaluation of task implementation, and the scope of the Task Force's oversight.
Previously, Febrie was named as the suspect in the alleged corruption case of coal governance which caused a massive blackout in Sumatra.
Rudi Margono, the Attorney General's Deputy Supervisory Officer at the Attorney General's Office, emphasized that his office will handle the alleged corruption case involving Febrie professionally and with legal certainty.
Rudi, who has also recently been appointed Acting Head of Jampidsus, stated that the synergy in handling the case with the Indonesian National Police's Anti-Corruption Corps upholds the principle of the presumption of innocence.
