inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. PT Pertamina Finance Director Mega Satria is committed to strengthening corporate governance through transaction data integration with the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance.
"Pertamina is committed to strengthening the governance of the Pertamina Group, and one way we do this is by continuing to demonstrate transparency and close collaboration with the Directorate General of Taxes," Satria said at the Kick-Off event for the Co-Operative Compliance Program Trial with the Implementation of the Tax Control Framework and Tax Data Integration, held at the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) Office in Jakarta on Monday (7/13/2026).
Satria stated that Pertamina has contributed to the state through taxation, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP), and dividends paid to the state.
"Hopefully, this can be extended to other state-owned enterprises as evidence of improved governance within SOEs," Satria said.
Director General of Taxes Bimo Wijayanto stated that the integration of transaction data with SOEs represents an evolution of the modern trust-based taxation system.
Bimo stated that the implementation of transaction data integration with Pertamina is expected to be a stepping stone for other state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and private companies.
Bimo emphasized that the core of integrating transaction data between companies and the Directorate General of Taxes is not to increase revenue, but rather to prevent previously unknown "surprise" taxes resulting from investments, business development, or other transactions that were not reported to the DGT.
"The point is to eliminate sudden surprises if it turns out there are transactions resulting from investments or business development that the Directorate General of Taxes was unaware of and perhaps forgot to report," Bimo said.
