Inp.polri.go.id – Lampung. Police has finally arrested the poachers who allegedly burns the Way Kambas National Park. The suspects that has been arrested by the police are M (59) from Sukadana, East Lampung. M has previously been chased by the police for he was already listed as fugitive. The East Lampung Police Chief, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant, M. Rizal Muchtar reveals M was arrested in his house after Police has arrested another suspect initialed S. “On last February, a suspect initialed S has been arrested in the middle of the jungle. From his statement, it was revealed that there are M and D who were running away. D now is in our pursuit,” he explains further. Police reveals that M is a poacher who burns the Way Kambas National Park in his hunting activity. Police reportedly still investigates the case further. “One fugitive named M has been arrested, he was also a poacher in Way Kambas National Park,” explains Lampung Timur Police Chief on Thursday (10/12/2023). From the arrest, several evidences have been secured such as one rifle, 32 ammo of 5,56 mm caliber, and a machete. (ad/my/pr/nm)
