The Criminal Investigation Unit of East Aceh Police uncovers three cases of Mineral and Coal Mining without permit or the C Mines. “Police has able to secure several suspects along with the evidence,” says East Aceh Police Chief, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant Andy Rahmansyah on Tuesday (10/17/2023). He reveals that the case began with the report from the public. In processing the report, members of Criminal Investigation Operational unit of East Aceh then able to arrest IB (50) who are residents of Blang Gleum Village. Furthermore, police continue their investigation and on September 4th, 2023, the police then arrest MN, ZA, and AB in Ranto Peureulak. After a while, on September 19th, 2023, police arrest two suspects with the initials of JA and NA in Pante Bidari. “We urge all owners of C-excavated mines will immediately process their permits, both in exploration and production permit.
