inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Anti-corruption Corps of Indonesian National Police (INP) says the case investigation of Firli Bahuri (FB) will resume after the 2025 Eid al-Fitr. This was stated by the Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Inspector General Karyoto to the Head of Anti-corruption Corps Inspector General Cahyono Wibowo.

“Yesterday we just talked with Karyoto and at one event, he asked me to meet to discuss the Firli Bahuri case,” says Cahyono on Wednesday (3/19/2025).

According to Cahyono, Karyoto has the commitment to see the case to its completion. However, he did not provide further details on what Karyoto will do following the Eid.

The re-summoning of FB himself, said Cahyono, was previously carried out to fulfill the P-19 instructions from the Prosecutor.

"I am sure that Karyoto has the desire to legally complete what has been given and has the responsibility to complete the assignment," he explained.
