inp.polri.go.id - Sragen. The police revealed the results of the investigation into the viral video of a dog being skinned alive. The video stated that the incident occurred in Sragen Regency, Central Java.

Sragen Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Petrus Silalahi explained that his party had confirmed with all work units in the Sragen area that no cases like the one in the video were found.

"We have confirmed that the video did not really happen in Sragen and we have checked that the same video was posted on January 5, 2025 on the Instagram account catty_home_jember," he explained, Sunday (6/8/25).

He explained that currently the investigation into the party who uploaded the old video is being carried out. However, the public is advised not to spread the video again.

"We appeal to the public to be wise in using social media, especially to be wise and understand all information posted using social media," he said.
