Inp.polri.go.id - Tanggamus. The Tanggamus Sub-regional Police have deployed medical teams to provide free healthcare for residents affected by Friday’s 4.5-magnitude earthquake in Tanggamus, Lampung.
“After the quake, we dispatched our medical unit to Semaka District to assist residents impacted by the disaster,” said Tanggamus Police Chief Superintendent Rahmad Sujatmiko on Sunday (28/9/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The operation targeted villagers whose homes were damaged, with at least 28 adults and five children receiving free treatment. Officers also urged residents to stay vigilant against possible aftershocks.
Meanwhile, Lampung Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) analyst Wahyu Hidayat confirmed that conditions in the three affected villages are improving.
The quake struck on Friday at 9.55 pm local time, its epicenter located 19 kilometers northwest of Tanggamus Regency.
