Inp.polri.go.id - Banda Aceh. The North Aceh Sub-regional Police have foiled an attempt to distribute 1,350 ecstasy pills, arresting two suspects during a sting operation at a gas station in Samudera District.
“In this operation, we arrested two alleged perpetrators along with the evidence at the Samudera gas station,” said North Aceh Police Narcotics Unit Chief Assistant Senior Inspector Erwinsyah on Wednesday (24/9/2025), as reportee by antaranews.com.
The suspects, identified as SW (24) from East Aceh and NA (21) from Lhokseumawe, were caught on Sunday after attempting to sell the drugs to undercover officers. Authorities confiscated two plastic packs containing 1,350 pills, two mobile phones, and a motorbike used to transport the narcotics.
Investigations revealed the pills were supplied by a man identified as JN in East Aceh, with plans to resell them for up to Rp 100,000 per pill. Both suspects face charges under the Narcotics Law, carrying maximum penalties of life imprisonment or death.
