Police Invites Public to Maintain Security During Constitutional Court Hearing of Central Papua Regional Elections

inp.polri.go.id - Papua. The Central Papua Regional Police, Brigadier General Alfred Papare invites the public to join in maintaining the security situation during the Constitutional Court Hearing of Regional Head Election.

The Central Papua Regional Police Chief, in his statement says that although there are minor disturbances during the election process, his party still managed to control the situation in general.

"We hope that the Constitutional Court (MK) Hearing for the gubernatorial and district elections in Central Papua Province will run smoothly and safely," said Alfred Papare.

Alfred Papare revealed that if the Constitutional Court decides to hold a re-vote (PSU), his party will prepare a comprehensive security plan and will adjust security for all or part of the district, in accordance with the Constitutional Court's decision.

"Cooperation between the Regional Government and the Security Forces is very important to ensure that the Constitutional Court's decision can be implemented properly by the General Election Commission. We all hope that whoever is elected as a leader, both at the Regency and Provincial levels, is the best for all of us," said the Central Papua Regional Police Chief.
