Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The investigators of Integrated Law Enforcement Center of Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Unit is filing the documents of seven Overseas Election Committee (PPLN) suspects in Malaysia. The seven suspects are identified as suspects for their criminal actions in adding permanent data voter (DPT) illegally.
“Today, the case file has been completed by the investigators from Gakkumdu,” said the Head of Public Information Bureau of INP Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko at his office on Monday (3/4/2024).
He explained that the investigators only have 14 days to complete the case file of election violations. In Gakkumdu itself, there are Election Supervisory Body and Prosecutor officials supporting the process.
Regarding the seven suspects, they are charged with two articles under the Election Law.
“For the suspects, articles charged against them are the article 544 and/or article 545 of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning elections," said Trunoyudo in conclusion.
