inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ketupat 2026 Operation Preventive Task Force conducted a series of monitoring activities to monitor the exodus traffic situation and the readiness of security posts at several strategic locations on Wednesday (3/18/2026).
The activity began with a visit to the Command Center at KM 29. During the inspection, the Task Force team directly monitored traffic flow developments and evaluated the implementation of the One-Way traffic management system on the Jakarta-Cikampek route up to KM 263.
Overall, traffic conditions were monitored under control with optimal traffic management implementation.
Next, they inspected the Security Post and Service Post in the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah area. This activity aimed to ensure personnel readiness and the completeness of facilities and infrastructure to provide services to the public during the Eid exodus period.
The series of activities continued with a visit to the Post at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal. During this opportunity, they also directly monitored passenger activity and terminal operations.
Based on the inspection results, the situation at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal was observed to be safe and conducive with no disturbances to public order and security.
A total of 3,000 passengers have departed today, and this number is expected to continue to increase, making it one of the highest volumes during this year's homecoming (mudik) period.
Furthermore, 83 buses have departed from Jakarta to various destinations in Java and Sumatra. This indicates a significant increase in public mobility ahead of the peak homecoming (mudik) period.
The Indonesian National Police (INP) urges all people planning to travel home to prioritize safety, obey traffic regulations, and utilize the facilities provided at the service posts to ensure a safe and comfortable journey, and ensure a safe and happy homecoming for families.
