inp.polri.go.id - Central Sulawesi. The Vice Chief of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police, Brigadier General Helmi Kwarta Kusuma Putra Rauf, led a leadership roll call on Monday (8/11/2025). 

In his remarks, Helmi Kwarta regretted the assault that resulted in the death of a victim in Morowali on Thursday (8/7/2025). The incident involved several security personnel, including a member of the Indonesian National Police (INP).

"Security officers are focused on guarding the secured location, not solving the case. If there is a case, immediately apprehend the perpetrator and hand them over to the nearest police station, not take the law into your own hands," the said Helmi in regret.

He also emphasized the role of heads of work units to continuously remind their subordinates. He stated that if a member makes a mistake, the responsibility rests with their commander.

"I emphasize to the work unit heads to always remind your members. Be a leader who can be a role model to your members," said Brigadier General Helmi.

He added that similar incidents must not be repeated in the future. The Vice Chief also ordered the Head of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police's Security and Profession  Division to immediately take action against any personnel found guilty of violating the law.

"The process will be carried out strictly in accordance with applicable regulations," he emphasized.
