inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The police confirmed the termination of the case involving the alleged distribution of fake diplomas by the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). However, the termination only applies to suspects Eggi Sudjana and Damai Hari Lubis.

"It's true, and a Letter of Order to Terminate Investigation (SP3) has been issued for Eggi and DHL," said the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, Friday (1/16/2026).

He explained that the termination of the case for the two suspects followed the request for Restorative Justice (RJ). The request itself was made after the two met with Jokowi at his residence in Solo, Central Java.

Regarding the other suspects, Chief Budi stated that the legal process will continue.

"(For the other three suspects in this cluster), the legal process is still ongoing," he explained.
