inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police assures that the investigation on the sexual harassment case allegedly done by Pancasila University Chancelor, Edie Toet Hendratno, will be carried out without any outside intervention.

“There is no pressure coming from outside,” says the Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi on Thursday (6/12/2025).

He said that investigators are still continuing to investigate the case in order to determine the suspect. He emphasized that his party is committed to providing protection to women, children, and vulnerable groups.

"The investigation must be carried out carefully with the principle of caution as all parties are gathered and all evidence is collected. As for the progress today, the investigation process is still ongoing," he explained.

Previously reported, the victim had visited the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDikti) Region III and also made a report regarding the alleged intimidation carried out by two lecturers.
