The remarks were made following the victory of the People's Action Party (PAP) led by Lawrence Wong in the national election.

"I would like to express my deepest congratulations to His Excellency Lawrence Wong on the victory of the People's Action Party (PAP) in Singapore," Prabowo said in a statement received in Jakarta quoted by Antaranews.

Prabowo said the PAP's landslide victory reflected the trust and confidence of the Singaporean people in Lawrence Wong's leadership and the stability of the government he promised.

"This convincing victory reflects the trust, stability, and confidence of the Singaporean people in the strong leadership of His Excellency Wong and the PAP," Prabowo said.

The President also expressed his belief that under this new government, Singapore will continue the success and stability that has been achieved so far.

"I believe that the new government will continue its success in leading Singapore," he said.

Prabowo also expressed his commitment to continue strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and Singapore.

"I look forward to continuing and strengthening our partnership with Singapore under the leadership of His Excellency Wong," said the Head of State.
