Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto on Thursday (18/12/2025) inspected three disaster-affected areas of Agam, Padang Pariaman, and Tanah Datar regencies, in West Sumatra by boarding a Air Force Caracal helicopter from Sutan Sjahrir Air Base in Padang. 

“This visit is to ensure the state is present and recovery efforts run effectively for affected communities,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com

The President first landed in Agam to check an evacuation post and plans for temporary housing for flood victims. He then continued to Padang Pariaman to inspect the construction of the Bailey Bridge at Padang Mantuang, before proceeding to Tanah Datar to review repairs on the Lembah Anai road damaged by disasters. 

After completing the inspection, President Prabowo returned to Jakarta via Minangkabau International Airport. The visit was accompanied by ministers, Indonesian Military (TNI) Commander General Agus Subiyanto, Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and other high ranking officials.
