Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto led a closed-door meeting on Tuesday evening (22/7/2025) to discuss the state budget (APBN), urging fiscal reform and deficit control. 

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani and top cabinet officials attended the session at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.

“The President’s directives are comprehensive. Revenue-side reforms will continue, while spending is focused on essential programs,” she said in a post-meeting press conference.

President Prabowo emphasized that the APBN should drive national economic growth, and called for deregulation to reduce dependence on the budget and boost investment. The meeting also reviewed preparations for the 2026 draft budget, including key programs such as free nutritious meals, digital education, and food resilience.
