Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto has ordered full electricity restoration in disaster-hit areas of Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra no later than Sunday night, following a coordination meeting at his private residence in Hambalang on Saturday (6/12/2025). 

“The President instructed that by tomorrow night all power must be fully restored,” Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya. said, as reported by antaranews.com.

The directive came after widespread floods and landslides that struck the three provinces on 25 November 2025, which killed 914 people. President Prabowo also instructed ministries and agencies to immediately reopen land routes, build temporary bridges, secure fuel supplies, and ensure uninterrupted delivery of logistics.

He said the urgent restoration of cut-off routes in Takengon, Bener Meriah, and other isolated areas, and reiterated that he will continue monitoring the situation and revisit the affected regions.
