Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State railway operator PT KAI confirmed full refunds for passengers affected by train cancellations and delays due to flooding on the railway tracks between Alastua and Semarang Tawang stations in Central Java.
“As part of our service responsibility, PT KAI will provide a 100% ticket refund, excluding booking fees, for passengers who cancel their trips due to delays exceeding one hour or route changes,” said PT KAI Vice President of Public Relations Anne Purba in Jakarta on Tuesday (28/10/2025), as reported by antaranews.com
She added that refund claims can be made at station counters or through PT KAI’s Contact Center 121 within seven days of departure. She emphasized that passenger safety remains KAI’s top priority amid the severe weather conditions.
Three train services, including two Kedung Sepur and one Joglosemarkerto route, were canceled, while others were rerouted. PT KAI has deployed maintenance crews and monitoring teams to restore the line and ensure travel safety.
