Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Five technicians from state-owned aerospace company PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) have returned home after South Korean prosecutors dropped charges related to alleged data theft from the joint KF-21 fighter jet development program.
“The prosecution found no unlawful actions under relevant laws and decided not to proceed to trial,” said Judha Nugraha, the Director of Citizen Protection, in a written statement on Tuesday (10/6/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The technicians were under investigation in January 2024 and were barred from leaving South Korea. They received consular support from the Indonesian Embassy in Seoul and legal assistance provided by PTDI.
PTDI also ensured their well-being by providing basic needs, psychological support, and company representatives during the legal process.
The case was officially dropped on 29 May 2025, and the technicians returned to Indonesia on 4 June 2025 in good health.
