inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) implores the public to maintain security and order amidst the rarity of 3 kg gas cylinders in some regions. Police assure that they will continue to follow the situation.

"Police continue to take steps in maintaining public order," explained the Head of the Public Information Bureau of INP Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko on Monday (2/3/2025).

He explains that INP is open to collaboration with Pertamina if necessary.

“Our hope is that the security situation in the public can be restored to normal,” says Trunoyudo.

It is known that the government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has determined that starting February 1, 2025, the purchase of 3 kg LPG can only be done at official Pertamina Bases. That way, this subsidized LPG is no longer sold at retailers.
