A civilian named Budi expressed his satisfaction after filing a report at the SPKT at the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police on Tuesday (10/14/2025). He assessed that the officers provided good and professional service.

The SPKT's standby officer, Police Senior Inspector Eko Sowandono, explained that his office remains committed to providing the best service with a structured and transparent work system. According to him, the service flow at the SPKT is designed to ensure the public receives legal certainty quickly and clearly.

"People who arrive for the first time will be greeted by a standby officer and asked to fill out a guest list, then given a queue number. Afterward, the reporter will receive counseling from the relevant department, such as the General Crimes Unit, Special Crimes Unit, Cyber ​​Crimes Unit, or the Public Order Agency (PPA), depending on the type of report," said Eko.

He added that counseling officers will recommend issuing a police report (LP) if the report meets criminal elements. This process also goes through a correction stage by the standby chief before the official report receipt is issued to the reporter.

"This mechanism is designed to ensure the public receives legal certainty quickly and professionally. We want the public to feel comfortable and confident that each of their reports is handled professionally and according to procedure," he explained.

Eko emphasized that public appreciation for the SPKT service demonstrates police's commitment to improving the quality of public services. This, he continued, aligns with the spirit of the Indonesian National Police's Precision motto: predictive, responsible, and transparent with justice.
