Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police is studying the transgender beauty pageant in one of the hotels in Jakarta. The contest have gone viral in social media and attracts various opinions.

The Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam, states that the police have not received any permits request from the beauty pageant contest.

"So far, we have not released any permits for the contest," reveals Ade on Tuesday (8/6/2024).

On the other hand, Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Soesatyo Purnomo Condro says his investigators will questioned the hotel officials to the event organizers. Soesatyo also said that Regional Leadership Coordination Forum did not release any permits to the event.

"The beauty pageant did not have any permits and we will investigate this matter to the roots with Jakarta civil service police unit," said Soesatyo.
