inp.polri.go.id - Riau Island. Riau Island Regional Police will hold "Seligi Safety Operation 2025". This operation is carried out to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1446 H while realizing the police's commitment to ensuring security, safety, order, and smooth traffic for people who will travel home for Eid.

This operation will last for 14 days, from February 10th to February 23rd, 2025 with the theme "Orderly Traffic to Realize Asta Cita".

"A total of 120 personnel will be deployed in this operation to improve traffic safety, reduce the number of accidents, and provide the best service to the community," said Head Ops of Riau Island Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ulami Sudjaja as reported by the batampos on Saturday (2/8/2025).

In his statement, he emphasized that the Police have a responsibility to improve the quality of traffic safety and reduce the number of accident fatalities.

He also reminded all personnel to carry out their duties with ethics, a humanistic approach, and full responsibility.

"I hope that in this operation, all personnel can prioritize ethics in carrying out their duties and carry out actions sincerely and with a full sense of responsibility," he concluded.
