Inp.polri.go.id - Mowcow. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow is ready to send experts to support Indonesia’s plan to develop nuclear power plants (PLTN)  during a meeting with visiting President Prabowo Subianto at the Kremlin in Moscow on Wednesday (10/12/2025). 

“If Your Excellency deems it necessary to involve Russian specialists, we are always ready to cooperate,” President Putin said, as quoted by antaranews.com

The meeting also highlighted the 75th anniversary of Russia–Indonesia diplomatic relations, with Putin stressing that bilateral ties continue to grow steadily. He cited a 17 percent increase in trade during the first nine months of this year and noted active cooperation across government, economic, and industrial sectors.

President Putin further underlined agricultural, defense, and technical partnerships, saying Russia welcomes Indonesia’s trade surplus in agriculture and is prepared to expand military-technical cooperation. He also praised rising tourism flows supported by direct flights and eased visa rules, and welcomed Indonesia’s full membership in BRICS and ongoing free-trade talks with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

President Prabowo arrived in Moscow on Wednesday morning after a visit to Islamabad, marking his second trip to Russia this year.
