Saudi Arabia Sends 70 Hajj Officials to Soekarno-Hatta: Immigration I

Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The Immigration Office at Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang, Banten announced that 70 officials from Saudi Arabia will be sent to aid in conducting administrative checks for departing Indonesian Hajj pilgrims.

Subki Miuldi, the Head of the Immigration Office at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, said on Thursday (9/5/2024) that the Saudi officials' deployment aims to facilitate this year's Hajj pilgrimage.

He  explained that his office did not made extensive preparations for this year's Hajj season. because its main duty is to  ensure that the Hajj pilgrims board the aircraft.

"Saudi Hajj officials have established a fast track lane named the 'Makkah Road,' which will handle inspections of Hajj candidates' travel equipment," Subki added.

Departures for Hajj pilgrims will be from Terminal 2 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, where 70 Saudi officials are poised to facilitate this year's Hajj pilgrimage.
