inp.polri.go.id – Three months on the run, the Branch Head of PT Darsa Hakam Darussalam (DHD) Farm Mitra Indotama Jambi, Aliman, was finally arrested. He was caught on the run with his wife and children in Bantul, Yogyakarta.
Aliman became a fugitive from the police after ignoring investigators' summons twice to undergo an examination. He was announced as a suspect by the Jambi Regional Police Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum).
"Against the person in question, we have done coercive efforts. We arrested him at his rented house in Bantul, Yogyakarta," said the Director of Ditreskrimum of Jambi Police, Commissioner Kaswandi Irwan, Wednesday (22/06/22).
Aliman himself admitted that he had been in Bantul for a month. "I was there working to earn a living for my wife and children, defrauding 16 Jambi residents in the catfish farming investment business," said Aliman.
Some of the victims have been examined as witnesses. It is estimated that the victim's loss is around Rp. 19.7 billion
Head of Sub Directorate III Jatanras of Ditreskrimum Jambi Police, Commissioner Handres, added that Aliman was arrested last Sunday (19/06/22). "He went to Bantul with his wife and children, took a bus from Jambi and stopped in Yogyakarta," he said.
To the police, Aliman admitted that he went to Bantul to work. "There he worked in a coconut factory," said Handres.
Among the evidences that were secured were a letter of appointment for the Jambi Branch Head of PT DHD Farm, a cultivation partnership agreement, and a receipt for payment to Aliman.
