Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. The Bali Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) will resume the search for a Chinese tourist swept away by strong currents at Nyang-Nyang Beach, Badung, on Monday. 

The operation to search for the tourist, identified as Hu Xisong (69), was suspended on Sunday (16/3/2025), due to heavy rain and low visibility.

“We will resume the search tomorrow. Today’s efforts yielded no results,” said Basarnas Bali Chief I Nyoman Sidakary, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Hu was pulled into the sea at 8.30 am local time, with witnesses reporting he was carried eastward. Basarnas Bali deployed jetski, a rubber boat, a drone and eight personnel, assisted by Balwista lifeguards, dividing efforts into land and sea searches.
