Tolikara - Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken) keeps improving and innovating to advance Papuan living quality. One of them is the SI IPAR KULA ULA Programme, a new form of the Polisi Pi Ajar programme from the Binmas Noken for the young Papuans. Police Inspector 1st Class Widada, Police Brigadier Petrus Hamokwarong, and Police Brigadier 1st Class Jordan P Bonay, on Saturday, August 28, 2021, visited the Kemala Reading Garden of Kelongger village, Karubaga district, at 1.00 p.m. They met Mr Emas Bogum, the community figure, to coordinate with him so the Police's SI IPAR KULA ULA event could run smoothly. Afterwards, the Binmas Noken team interacted with the school children to teach them reading, writing, counting, colouring pictures, and national insight through singing national songs. The event was also filled with the storytelling of Indonesian folklore. The enthusiasm from the kids was evident when they understood the ethnic diversity in Indonesia through the Indonesian folklore storytelling. The kids are also great at colouring and drawing. This event could fill their activities with joyous activities, monitor children's development in education, and avoid negative influences outside.
