Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang.The Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police have arrested two suspects, identified as UM and AJW, for forging Foreign Worker Cards , known locally as e-PMI or KTKLN, to facilitate the illegal departure of prospective migrant workers.

“Officers found invalid documents. Upon questioning, the worker admitted being assisted by suspect UM,” said Soekarno-Hatta Police Criminal Investigation Chief Senior Inspector Yandri Mono on Tuesday (11/11/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

The case began when immigration officers stopped a prospective worker named Kadek Sastra Utama, who attempted to travel to Oman using a fake card provided by suspect UM and produced by suspect AJW. Police later arrested suspect AJW at his home in Sukoharjo, Central Java, where he confessed to editing the document using his phone for Rp 400,000.

Both suspects are charged under multiple laws on migrant protection, human trafficking, and cybercrime. They face up to 15 years in prison and fines reaching Rp 15 billion.
