Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Officials report that Soekarno Hatta International Airport will have around 960 to 980 flight service a day during the 43rd ASEAN Summit, Monday (9/4/2023). The President Director of Angkasa Pura II, Muhammad Awaluddin, says this due to the airport who still has to service regular flight during the Summit. He ensured that there are no limitations for commercial flights. To ensure smooth service for the airport, Angkasa Pura II has prepared plans and procedure for the International Airport. “The simulations and plan operations have been conducted. Angkasa Pura II has to maintain smooth operational state flights and regular flights in Soetta Airport,” stressed Awaluddin. He explained that Soetta Airport has the responsibility to show the delegates the best first impression when first arrived in Indonesia. “Soetta Airport is the main entrance for our guests and our job is to ensure their arrival come smoothly,” says Awaluddin. Furthermore, Awaluddin says that all personnel are ready and all facilities are ready to support. Moreover, Awaluddin adds that Soetta Airport has also improved their coordination with all related stakeholders “to ensure safety, security, and our service”.   (ta/hn/nm)
