Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia is preparing to extend its hospitality by committing to provide exceptional services for both domestic and international media professionals covering the 43rd ASEAN Summit, Minister of Communication and Informatics Budi Arie Setiadi stated during the press conference at the 43rd ASEAN Summit Media Center on Sunday (3/9/23). Among the offerings highlighted by the Minister is the deployment of a robust 10-gigabit internet network, ensuring seamless connectivity for journalists and fast data delivery. "With this 10-gigabit network, the speed is truly remarkable," he said. In addition to high-speed internet access, Indonesia is offering an array of facilities, including continuous availability of food and beverages. Numerous dedicated spaces are at the disposal of media personnel, and to ease the demands of event coverage, massage services are even being provided. He conveyed the fundamental principle that Indonesia aspires to be an exemplary host.  This aspiration is firmly grounded in the belief that, by doing so, media professionals will be empowered to provide more comprehensive coverage to their respective nations. Additionally, he articulated his optimism that the central theme of the 43rd ASEAN Summit, "ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth," will come to fruition. The heart of ASEAN Matters is to render ASEAN relevant and substantial to the people of Indonesia, the broader ASEAN region, and neighboring areas. Usman Kansong, the Director-General of Public Information and Communication at the ministry, had earlier revealed that the Media Center for the 43rd ASEAN Summit will serve as the hub for approximately 2.500 journalists, with nearly 1.800 of them being foreign correspondents.
