The Sterilization Sub-task Force of Mantap Praja Turangga Operation conducts dialogic and security patrol at East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) Office to ensure smooth running of the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Election campaign period on Sunday (9/29/2024).

The Head of the Sub-task Force, Police Assistant Superintendent Joni F.M Sihombing who directly led the patrol says that the security operation aims to ensure the Bawaslu office remains safe from threats.

“We conduct this dialogic and security patrol to ensure that the NTT Bawaslu Province and its surrounding area are safe and free from dangers that could disturb the election process,” says Joni.

Joni also invites the general public to join in maintaining security and order of the area during the election period. He stressed that the stability situation of the area is the responsibility of all.

“Maintaining security and order is not only the duty of security officials, it is the responsibility of all. We hope that people can proactively report any suspicious activities to ensure safe, peaceful, and smooth Regional Head Election,” explains Joni.

With dialogic patrol, the Sterilization Sub-task Force can continue to monitor and secure every vital point of the election, including the election organizer offices, to maintain a conducive situation in NTT province ahead of the 2024 Regional Head Election.
