"We at the Supreme Court fully support legal proceedings against judges suspected of criminal acts," Supreme Court Secretary Sugiyanto said on Monday (28/10/2024), expressing concern that bribery cases persist despite government efforts to improve judicial welfare.
He referenced recent governmental support for judicial welfare, citing Government Regulation No. 44 of 2024, which enhances judges’ financial rights and facilities under the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction.
