inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A total of 82.7 percent of travelers expressed satisfaction with the implementation of Operation Ketupat 2026. This percentage is the result of the latest survey by Indikator Politik Indonesia.
The survey, conducted through face-to-face interviews from March 29 to April 4, 2026, sampled 1,200 respondents. The survey method used was multistage random sampling with a margin of error of 2.9 percent and a 95 percent confidence level.
The Indikator survey divided public satisfaction with the implementation of the 2026 Eid homecoming (mudik) program into two categories. The first category included all respondents, including those who did not travel, and the second category included those who did travel this year.
Executive Director of Indikator Politik Indonesia, Burhanuddin Muhtadi, stated that his team also asked respondents about Operation Ketupat 2026. Respondents were asked whether this year's Operation Ketupat was better at ensuring smooth traffic flow than last year.
"Among all respondents, 81 percent said this year was better than last year. Those returning home, in particular, gave a higher evaluation. For those returning home, the evaluation was slightly higher than the general figure of 82.7 percent," explained Burhanuddin, Tuesday (4/7/2026).
Shortening the figure, 11.5 percent of travelers strongly agreed that Operation Ketupat this year was successful in smoothing the 2026 Eid homecoming flow. Meanwhile, in the agreed category, 71.2 percent stated that Operation Ketupat 2026 helped smooth the Eid homecoming flow.
